JALAPENO CHEESE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup margarine

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 3/4 cup Willamette Valley Jalapeno Y Vino Mustard OR Haus Barhyte Jalapeno Gold Mustard

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 cups 1% milk

  • 1/4 cup dry sherry

  • 3 cups shredded medium OR sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup shard cheese spread

  • 1 tsp Suzie’s Organic Worcestershire Sauce

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat butter over low heat until melted

  2. Blend in flour, mustard, salt, and dash of pepper

  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and bubbly

  4. Remove from heat

  5. Stir in milk and sherry

  6. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly

  7. Boil 1 minute while stirring

  8. Reduce heat to low and blend in cheese

  9. Once melted, stir in worcestershire sauce
