Who's Been Sliced? It's Time for the Dessert Showdown...

Saucy Mama’s Sliced Competition continues. Last week brought us some incredible bean and mustard entrée dishes. We had some amazing recipes…from pork to salmon and steak! While we wish we could push everyone through to the next round, these are our top 10 finalists who will move on to dessert:

Ally – Triple “B” Burgers with Hatch Chili Mayo

Cathy – Creamy Dill-White Bean Manicotti

Christie – Garlic Chile Skirt Steak with Fresh Green Bean Salsa and Compound Butter

Emily – Dilled Salmon & White Bean Pot Pies

Helena – Dill Mustard & Pretzel Crusted Lamb Chops with Spinach & Cannellini Beans

Jennifer – Bacon & Cheese-Stuffed Chili Burgers

Lauren – Seared Cod with Mustard Cream Sauce over White Beans and Kale

Linda – Mustard-Glazed Beef Tenderloin with Green Bean Salad

Susan – Spinach Falafel with Hatch Chili Mustard Tahini Sauce

Tiffany – Pork Loin Stuffed with Garlic Mustard Green Beans

The last and final secret ingredient is: BOOZE. Yep- any kind of booze (alcohol-free is fine, too!) mixed with our mustard…in a dessert! This is definitely the hardest round of them all, but after sampling each of these finalists’ previous recipes, we’re confident in their abilities. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
